NAIOP Developing Leaders Program

NAIOP has launched a new initiative aimed at attracting more active members in 35 and under age range. As part of this initiative, members 35 and under receive a reduced rate membership fee of $150 per year which will provide access to all of the breakfast meetings and other events sponsored by our Chapter.

Additionally, our Chapter will host four additional educational programs a year exclusively for these Developing Leaders.

The theme of the educational programs for 2007-2008 will be the life cycle of a development. Each program segment will focus on a different facet of the development process and from a different perspective including:
1) The Developer Perspective- topics including, selecting a product and location;
2) The Design Professional Perspective: topics including, designing a project attractive to city planners and tenants alike;
3) The Attorney & Lender Perspective: tax increment and creative financing tools; and
4) The Tenant & Broker Perspective: leasing up/selling the project.

Developing Leaders will also have the opportunity to participate in other NAIOP Chapter and National organized peer group networking events.
