Benefits

Networking

Being a member of NAIOP allows you to develop new business relationships, solidify deals, and share experiences with colleagues who are among the industry's top professionals. You will have the opportunity to network and develop relationships with more than 10,000 members in 48 chapters across North America. From national education conferences to participation in a National Forum or committee to local chapter luncheons, golf tournaments or bus tours, members are offered countless opportunities to get to know their fellow members and build their businesses.

Chapter Network

Along with national membership, NAIOP members simultaneously belong to one of 48 chapters located in North America. Within each chapter, members have increased opportunity to attend educational programs, network with fellow members and participate in legislative affairs.

Chapters have local leadership and committees that organize events and spearhead local legislative actions, including state capital visits and community involvement. Other events typically include property tours, education seminars and golf tournaments. In addition, to maintain ties with the National NAIOP leadership, each chapter nominates one representative to serve on the national board of directors.
A complete directory of NAIOP’s chapter network is available in the Chapters section of the NAIOP Web site.

Membership Directory

The Membership Directory — now online and updated daily — is a great way to network with fellow NAIOP Members. You can search the Member Directory to locate a Member or find a service partner.

NAIOP National Forums

NAIOP National Forums bring together successful industrial and office real estate executives in a non-competitive environment where they can share knowledge and help each other solve problems. These special interest groups serve the needs of senior-level NAIOP members, and provide them with an opportunity for exclusive networking and experience exchange with their peers. In NAIOP National Forums, members gain and provide practical advice, creative alternatives and industry wisdom.

NAIOP National Forums meet for two days, twice a year, at the Annual Conference in the fall and the National Forums Symposium in the spring. Each Forum is limited to no more than 30 members. The current list of NAIOP National Forums includes:

•Associates Forums I, II, III, IV & V
